Participants will meet weekly for a 120-minute lecture on Tuesdays at 4pm EDT and for a 75-minute breakout discussion group on Thursdays at 3pm EDT or 4:30pm EDT. Additionally, there will be recurring happy hours and working zoom rooms for the participants.

Faculty for the Academy include Beth Morrison Projects’ staff and senior leadership: Beth Morrison, Jecca Barry, Brian Freeland, Kim Whitener, Robert Smith, and Ashley Peters plus guest colleagues in the field.
This course provides opportunities for:

Learning how to navigate the entire production process from conception to closing night

Budgeting and building effective templates

Fundraising planning and execution
-
Learning production vocabulary and definitions

One-on-one mentoring

Interfacing with professional producers and presenters in the industry

Feedback on pitch materials and projects

Tuition
-
Option 1: $2,500. 8-week course that includes seminars, discussion groups, Q&A sessions, budget templates, example grant applications, example pitching materials and more.

Option 2: $3,500. Everything in Option 1 plus one private session with Beth & Jecca to get detailed feedback on a project or career aspirations, a pitch-session and feedback session with industry leaders, and a virtual networking event with BMP staff, colleagues and industry professionals.
We have a payment plan if that is preferred.
Three scholarships will be offered to BIPOC aspiring artists and/or producers hoping to become our next generation of arts administrators.
